Keith Leas is a Data Scientist for Caterpillar Inc. As a member of Caterpillar’s Talent Analytics team, Keith serves as an internal industrial-organizational psychology consultant specializing in the design, validation, and use of personnel assessments and employee surveys, and the design and use of data visualizations and data storytelling to bring HR data insights to life.
Keith is a member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, where he currently serves as part of the society’s Membership Committee, and a member of the American Psychological Association. Keith’s diverse past work experience includes work in the areas of human resources, academics, information technology, logistics, manufacturing, and quality management. Keith graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from Purdue University and also holds a Master of Science degree and was a Ph.D candidate with dual specializations in Human Factors and Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Wright State University.
