Edie Goldberg is the principal of E. L. Goldberg & Associates in Menlo Park, CA. She has specialized in organization effectiveness and talent management for over 20 years. She focuses her practice on designing HR processes and programs to attract, engage, develop and retain employees. Before starting her own company, Dr. Goldberg worked for Towers Perrin as the Global Leader in Career Management, Succession Planning, and Learning & Development. She also co-lead a Talent Management Initiative which produced groundbreaking research on employee perceptions regarding what attracts and retains them. Dr. Goldberg has published & presented papers in the areas of performance management, core competencies, total quality management, organizational change, and employee selection. She earned her Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Albany, State University of New York, and her B.A. and M.S. from San Diego State University. She is currently the President of the California HR Strategy Forum, and was the founder of the Bay Area Applied Psychologists.
